Hello, my name is Vincent Fitzgerald McGee and my son is Colin Vincent McGee. I live in Lithia Springs, GA, but he is currently residing with his maternal grandmother in Pulaski, TN. I am 42 years old and have worked at Emory Midtown for the past 9 years as a Sergeant in the Public Safety Department. I am a devoted, responsible, and loving father to my 12 year old son. Before I tell my story, I really want to thank you for taking the time to read my email message. I am sending this information to your news team because I have dealt with a confusingly backward child custody battle for a very long time! [5 years with ex-wife and 1.5 years with her mother] I hope after reading my message, you or someone at your company can please help me and my son with this painful and long situation. I am in a desperate situation and we all have heard the saying, “Desperate times call for desperate measures.” I am willing to accept any and all suggestion(s) or solution (s).

All of my troubles started in May of 2004 when I decided to separate from my son’s mother, LeAundria Shay McGee. Three months later (without any notice), she moved our son to Columbia, Tennessee and moved in with her mother Carol Randolph. From 2004 thru 2009, LeAundria made it hard for me to see or be with Colin. I made attempts to see him but with her changing mood swings, it became an unhealthy environment for my son to witness. Because she was diagnosed with Leukemia, I wanted Colin to spend time as much time as possible with his mother. Although I knew the importance of my son having time with his mom, I also wanted to be in our son’s life too. On July 3, 2009, Colin called me about 0200 hours that morning crying, telling me his mother just died. The first thing I asked him was what do you need baby. Colin said, “I need you to come here to be with me!” I got up, packed my cloths got in my car and went to be with my baby.

Keep in mind throughout the last five years, Colin and I saw each other no more than twenty times with limited phone conversations. I found out later by Colin that he was told “his father didn’t want him or his mom.” He also told me that I left him and his mom for my fiance, Barbie Matthews. Despite knowing this information, I went to speak with Carol Randolph (the grandmother)the day before the funeral. I asked her what she thought about Colin staying in Tennessee for another year since I wanted Colin to slowly withdraw from Tennessee. I knew this was basically all he had known for the majority of his life. Her response to my question was, “We will play it by ear!” That’s when I began to think about everything I had already gone through with LeAundria and I did not want to do the same thing with her. Therefore the next day after the viewing, I told her I was going to take Colin back with me to Atlanta. After speaking with her, I went to the Pulaski Police Station. It was my goal to have a police escort when I went to get Colin; I did not want any drama when I picked him up. The next day at the funeral, I noticed the physical distance her family kept between Colin and myself. After returning to the church to eat, I saw police vehicles approaching the building. The next thing I knew, I was served with restraining order which stated that Colin was scared of me and I did not pay child support. Keep in mind, the grandmother got this restraining order less then 24 hours. After going to court, the judge found that Carol had no substantial evidence to keep me away from my son. Afterwards, Colin and I talked; he begged me to stay in Tennessee for one more year. I thought about this for a long time. Regardless of the restraining order, the biggest issue was Colin and his mental state. I realized that he had just lost his mom, did not know me too well since we had not spent time together, and he had never met my fiance (then girlfriend). Plus knowing he had heard so many bad things throughout his life, I decided it would be in his best interest. I would use the year as a transitional period and he would get to know me and Barbie. Therefore, I agreed to let Colin to stay until the end of the 2010 school year.

But in August of 2009, I received paperwork in the mail. It was a Petition for Adoption which stated the grandmother was trying to adopt my son. After talking with her attorney, I really thought the grandmother was trying to physically take my son away from me permanently. Since I was already going to visit Colin that weekend, I decided to bring him back with me to Atlanta. I had custody of my son and no one would take him away from me again. I honestly saw red and got so mad at the grandmother. I love my son and knew I was the best person to raise him to be a well rounded, law abiding black man. After picking him up from his grandmother, I told him that his grandmother was trying to adopt him. I told him that instead of going to Nashville for the weekend, we were headed to Atlanta and he was not coming back to Tennessee. Once we got home, I called Carol and told her that I was not bringing Colin back to her this weekend. He was going to stay with me and Barbie in Atlanta. Although she begged for me to return him, I told her “No!.” I let Colin speak with her but during our phone conversation she contacted her attorney and explained my actions to him. I was told to return Colin by that following Monday or they would have to take out legal actions. During the next week and a half, I enrolled Colin into Turner Middle School and our new life started with the three of us. On the Friday of the following week, my fiance was awakened by a knock on our door. It was the Douglas County Fugitive Task Force. They were looking for me and my son. They had a police warrant for my arrest but I was not home at the time. While working, I was contacted by Barbie who told me that the Fugitive Task Force wanted to talk with me. Since I am a Sergeant at Emory Public Safety Department, they did not want to put my job in jeopardy by arresting me at Crawford Long. They told me to turn myself in to the Pulaski Police Department on the following Monday. I agreed and finished out my day at work. On my way home, Barbie called to let me know a Douglasville Policeman was at our apartment waiting for me to get home. Once I got home, I was informed that I was under arrest for kidnapping a minor and taking him across state lines. I was sent to the Douglas County Jail and stayed throughout the weekend. After appearing in Court that Monday, I wanted to know what law I had broken. That is when I was told that since I had verbally agreed to let Colin stay in Tennessee, I had no right bringing him to Georgia unless agreed by the court. Since I had custody of my son, I still did not understand my arrest. I was later granted bond but had to drive to Pulaski, TN and turn myself in to the police. At about 0300, I saw a magistrate judge in Pulaski and was released. The charges we dropped at a later time.

Since I did not understand why I was arrested, I hired Paul Bates an attorney in Giles County. He got the kidnapping dropped but I still had to leave Colin in Tennessee for a year. After paying close to $20,000 in attorney fees, I still did not get my son returned to me. Colin is still living in Tennessee but at the end of school year, he gets to return to Georgia or so i thought. Last week I received another court petition from the grandmother. The petition states that I do not visit my son, pay child support, and cause mental stress and anxiety to my son. Just to let you know, I started paying my $244/month child support, but the grandmother never saved any of his money. Colin receives over $540/month from Social Security and my child support. The grandmother lives with her mother and as far as I know, the great grandmother does not have a mortgage. Although I do not pay child support, I do put his monthly $244 in an savings account. I do not trust the grandmother and I want my son to have money saved for college. I honestly do not believe the grandmother has his best interest at heart; she has told me that LeAundria’s last wish was for her mother to keep Colin away from me. If Colin wants a relationship with me when he gets older, then that is his decision. I know for a fact that my son does not need $788/month for his expenses. He should have some money left every month but I think his grandmother is using my son for the extra money. I do not understand how she works for Columbia’s Department of Family and Children Services, lives with her mother and can not save at least $100 to $300 a month from his money. I visit my son once a month unless he comes here to Georgia for a visit. It puzzles me how the grandmother is trying to keep my son and I am treated like a dead beat dad. Unlike dead beat dads, I want my son and the responsibilities that come along with carrying for him. None of this makes any sense to me! I am Colin’s father, so why can’t I have my son? I have an upcoming court day on June 16, 2010 at 0900 hours in Pulaski, Tennessee. The reason I reached out to you news team is that I want to put a stop to this cycle of keeping good dads at arms length from there kids. I want my situation put in the media since I do not know any other way to stop this process. If you could I want this in the local and national news. I know this issue of keeping good dads away from there kids is not just happening to me. This has to stop happening to good men! We are always focused and talking about dead beat dads and the good dads are swept under the rug. Why should dads who support their children get dealt a bad hand due to the attention placed on the dads who do not accept their responsibilities!!! At this time, I truly need any and all help that you can give me. I absolutely love and adore my son and CAN NOT live without him. I will keep fighting for him no matter how long it takes! I want to say Good Morning to all of you. I also want to say that I am truly blessed and not stressed. God has me inside of His Hands and I am protected and overjoyed!!! I just want to say to all of those individuals who are still living inside of a shell of jealousy and hate, to please allow God to restore your life and do not covet!!! It does not make any sense to engage in covetousness and disrupt the lives of others. Gayle King’s show is horrible. I really tried to listen to her twice today and just could not. You have got to be kidding me. Our community needs much more than this. I am beginning to think this is a conspiracy. This show is not entertaining nor educational, it reminded me of a phone conversation. I have not heard a nice word about this show from any of the Atlanta listeners.

Unbelievable!!! How in the &*^% can you take off such a valuable person like Lorraine? Ok, she’s a plant by the “tea party” right? Gayle King !!!! she has a place on radio for the well heeled, affluent, jet set crowd with vacation homes in the Hamptons and Martha’s Vinyard, Park Ave, and Beverly Hills.

WAOK needs Lorraine, Sisters in Law, Warren and the like. I for one as I’m sure that a great many of the listeners can’t relate to a Gayle King. Who the hell cares about her grown daughter driving on the 4th of July or her Hamptons set. The poor, working poor, unemployed and incarcerated need substantive info in these times that LJW helps to provide. I was just outdone and quite angry to find LJW gone from the air, her time slot changed as per the receptionist.

I support her 100 % having a talk show but I believe she is on the wrong station. WAOK does not need fluff talk.

Please put Warren Ballentine back on WAOK between 10am-1pm. Please. I love Gayle King, and I would love to hear her broadcast, but perhaps during another time of the day. The first hour of the Warren Ballentine show is the best, and I hope that you can understand my concern. I was soooooo disappointed to turn on WAOK yesterday, and hear an unknown voice. Warren has so much substance and truth that needs to be shared. So please find another time slot for Gayle King. BRING BACK WARREN FULL TIME! Thank you for all your great programming.

I heard Derrick yesterday and he reminded me of me. He sometimes does not listen. He has a habit of interrupting his callers before they can make their points. Stop talking over your callers. I’ve made some headway in my quest to become a better listener and I’m sure you can too! Just try. Oh yeah, that caller did not say he offered the young man who offered to mow his lawn $10. You asked him how much he thought the job was worth and he said $10. Just listen!

Cohabitation vs. Traditional Marriage

This is a report on the advantages and disadvantages between cohabitation and a traditional marriage. Let’s look at what are the two as a whole. The definition of cohabitation is when two people either male or a female live together inside of one house. On the other hand, both men and women can live together for one common purpose. It is based on necessity and its sole purpose is to survive by putting all of your resources together and maintain a specific place to live. If it applies to non-married couples, the only thing that is accomplished is the bills are getting paid. For example, the utilities, food, and rent are being paid by someone who has income coming from a specific source. On the other, anyone at any age usually cohabitate as a means of testing the waters. This is to determine whether the person that they are currently living with is suitable for marriage.

This is done on a trial and error basis. Anyone who agree with cohabitation as a means to figure out whether this person is a candidate for marriage, then good luck!!!! As far as a traditional marriage is concerned, it is when a man and woman who has done things the right way, and they are ready to settle down and join a life partnership. A certificate from the state of which the union has been official is required. It does require a great deal of planning and responsibility when it comes to both men and women. Some people pay for their own wedding all by themselves. There are others who would prefer to have others to assist in this process. A wedding planner or ministers of a church are examples of people who will assist in this process.

We are not saying that family members could not help. It varies according to how family members accept the bride or groom as a member of the family. Now each member of a cohabitated family household as well as a traditional marriage must have some financial stability. This means that each member of the household must carry their own weight on a financial basis. You cannot have one person carrying the full load all by themselves. If this is the case, then you will have conflict inside of the residence. This is not a laughing matter. This is because women are stronger than men when it comes to maintaining a specific household.

This is because they are organized and straight to the point when it comes to paying bills as well as buying food. Women are better planners when it comes to dealing with childcare, but they cannot do it all by themselves. This is the reason why men should be able to keep up when it comes to learning how to listen to women. If not, then a man who does not know how to manage the affairs of a household and children will always have trouble. This is because some men tend to allow women to pay for all of the bills and they also are controlling inside of a cohabitated or a traditional marriage environment.

For more information about this, try looking into your law enforcement statistics as well as issues pertaining to domestic violence. This is not to say that there is not any equilibrium or equality inside of the household. Therefore, good communication skills are necessary when it comes to maintaining a household of any kind. It is always very important to understand that there are more women and men who have decided to try the cohabitation method. Why is this, this is because it is much easier on them than getting married.

This is simply because an average person will have to find out how you are personally before they will decide to get married. This is the feeling out process. It is a feeling out process because it enables men and women to find out all about each other. Like they say, you have to find out what is sand from soil. If a person does not know the difference between sand and soil then this is a problem. Traditional marriages are not lasting very long for young people between the ages of 18 to 40. The reason why is because there is a breakdown in communication and there are times that both men and women hold on to emotional baggage from the past. If there is baggage from the past, then it is very difficult for couples to have a successful relationship.

Men and women are different when it comes to communication in the first place. If a man is afraid to share with his spouse or significant other about his personal feelings, then there is a problem. This means that his ego is inside of his body and he is hiding his true self. A man’s ego is like a cage that he tends to hide inside of whenever there is a conflict inside of the home. Men on the other hand are supposed to become leaders inside of an average cohabitation or traditional marriage household. If he is not a leader, then why is a woman so reluctant allowing him to spread his wings and fly? I guess women tend to fear that they cannot find another man to replace the one that was lost. This is an insecurity on their part because like they say, people can do things all by themselves.

People will have to become secure within yourself. By becoming secure, this means to gain confidence and become more responsible for your own actions as an adult. Cohabitation has its disadvantages, by saying this; it means that men and women might not get married in the first place. There is not a purpose. You are just living inside of a home and paying the bills. What do you have to share with each other? I guess nothing much!!! What are you intentions in your cohabitated home environment? Evaluate yourself as a person and ask your spouse or significant other to do the same.

Disadvantages in a traditional marriage are unemployment, a lack of childcare resources, extreme poverty, and breakdown in communication between husbands and wives, as well as active addiction issues. In a traditional marriage, men and women refuse to be honest with each other about their personal needs. This also applies to a cohabitation environment. There is so much dishonesty and a lack of harmony that it causes men and women to separate and go their own separate ways.
Departure is extremely difficult in cohabitation and a traditional home environment. If men and women are not honest and truthful from the very start, then problems will arise and there will never be a purpose or a set foundation for success in any of these relationships. Cohabitation and a traditional marriage is really what you make of it. If your life at the present is not up to your expectations, then try attending church and request for God’s help. It is God who provides us with the air that we breathe each day. It is God who gives us our life and bless us with the people who we choose to share our life with. God Bless You!!!

I just wanted to say that I am so disappointed in the change that was made on WAOK. I cannot sit here and honestly say that I support the Gayle King show. I miss an entire hour of Warren Ballentine which only gives me one hour of his show and not two. It’s sad to say but as of last week my radio in my car stayed on AM, WAOK but not anymore. I refuse to listen to the station until Gayle is taken off and I will, and I repeat I will let the listeners on my blogspot and my book club know. Many of them do and have stopped listening.
I hate for it to come to this but this in my opinion was and is a set up for the black community!

I have been listening to WAOK since 1969. I grew up with you and have seen all the changes over the years. From the Waok Road Shows, Doug Steel(evening) to Doctor Feelgood coming on at midnight. I remember when you went 24 hrs. and people complained. Took off gospel people complained, Went to talk format people complained. People will complain no matter what you do. I say tell the complainers, whiners and haters to put their money together and buy their own station. This week you hit another homerun with the addition of Gayle King. You have shown that WAOK is ready for the future. Just like President Obama WAOK is not just for Black People but for all people. Gayle has covered not only the same topics as the other talk show hosts but many others as well in just a two hour span. Its refreshing to listen to her talk with callers and not cutting them off because of a different opinion. Everyone is not in a hater or jealous mode here in Atlanta. A lot of us are not sheep who blindly follow the loudest voice or someone who appears to speak for all black people. I have read that this station is for us. I ask: US meaning WHO. I hope that this station is for everyone that listens. Black, White, Hispanic, poor, middle class, or wealthy Gayle has a little something for all of us. To all the advertisers, for everyone that complains rest assured they can be matched by someone who likes this new lineup. Gayle is not out of touch she is in touch. Thanks again from a fan who has been listening to you for over 40 years.

I came back from vacation refreshed and renewed to sit down and listen to Dr. Lorraine White followed by Warren Ballentine to hear the CRAPPY display of radio “talk” show, The Gayle King Talk Show. Cut me a break. I am so sick of weak-knee’ed black radio stations as relates to authentic radio talk show by and FOR black folks. I absolutely under no circumstances will listen to/stream WAOK between the 9AM-11AM and will pick-up the U-Stream view of The Warren Ballentine Show. Disappointed Listener……..

Ok! Enough of that Gayle King crap!! She’s not relevant and can’t talk about the real issues that Black people have. She’s a used to be Black person! Bring back Warren Ballentine’s hour. I can’t stand to listen at that high polluted in the Hampton’s girl Gayle King, she sucks!!!

WOW… I did not realize how much of a junkie I am for black talk radio. I’m sitting here at work listening to nothingness because I’d rather do that than listen to Gayle King show. But I feel like something is missing in my day and I’m really upset about it, so I’m thinking whats wrong with me and I realize I’m not listening to Warren right now when I know I should be hearing him right now.

Gayle King is a waste of time for this station. Most listeners want to listen to political and community issues that impact the African American community. She has a good show but it is too white-washed for WAOK. Give Dr, White her additional hour!

Hmmmm! I was about to switch from WAOK to “U-stream” to listen to Warren Ballentine when I realized…..I’m not even listening to WAOK the way I used to. It’s not even on!!! Don’t get me wrong, I like “Loraine J. Whites” show but since they have inserted “Gayle King” at 9 o’clock. My overall interest in the station as a whole has been affected and seems It’s not as much of a priority in the morning as it used to be. Interesting the way things affect you huh!?

If there is anyone else who feels that her show is a big heaping pile of horse crap on a hot summers day then call the station and let them know how you feel. Flood them with calls. When white folks lose a radio host(s) they go ape sh** and raise a storm. We need to do the same thing and not let up until she is gone! There are thousands of listeners/truthfighers who tune into WAOk yet only a few have the balls to call, email, and post. If we don’t let them know what we want then they’ll do like 107.5/97.5 and take Warren Ballentine off the air completely.

Your switch to radio.com sucks.I can no longer hear WAOK.Also the inclusion of Oprahs’ friend Gail what’s her name sucks.These national shows such as Warren ballentine & Al Sharpton are good but they should be broadcast after 7pm and on weekends.Atlanta needs local talk shows such as Lorraine, Derrick Boazman, and Solutions & Remedies which is no longer on the format.Please correct the problem with radio.com or get rid of it, and bring back the local talk shows…Atlanta wants & needs them.

Did you guys catch Gayles show topic today???? Jesus this lady is not for WAOK. I have not been listening to WAOK around this time since the line-up change but this morning I was working on my car in the garage so I turned on the radio. Of course I hear Gayle King! She starts with the topic of her show today which was…… “what qualities and/or qualifications do you look for in a Facebook friend??” WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? Surely this is a joke?! SERIOUSLY this is your topic???? I listened for 5 min and realized she doesn’t even know anything about Facebook. This means likely one of her personal assistance or staff runs her Facebook page. That was it! I turned off the radio…turned on the stereo in my car and played some old school “Ice Cube!” Had to get my mind right after that crap!! Geez!!!!!!!!!! I think I will get satellite radio so I can listen to XM 169 the Power! No BS like this on that station!!!

please give Dr. White back her hour. gale’s show is nice but insulting to anyone that seeks correspondence on real issues.

Dr. White is the experienced radio show host with talent and a following. SHE should have the national show, not Gayle King.
I have nothing against Gayle King at all; I just don’t think The Lorraine Jacques-White Show or The Warren Ballentine Show should be cut for a newbie.
I have a flex weekday but still turn off the radio or switch to classical as soon as The Gayle King show comes on. I will continue doing this, too, as long as she is on the radio.

While I think Gail King maybe a fine person, I no longer listen to her show. Her show has little value and is a waste of my time. Many people listen to WAOK to become informed. Gail King’s show is mindless dribble that does nothing for me and many other listeners. Please bring back the 1st hour of Warren Balentine, or I will just contine to miss WAOK during the Gail King hours.

My business partner was on trial in Newton county, GA for the murder of his friend. He was found guilty of a crime that he did not commit with no evidence against him except what was planted by a GBI agent. I have documented proof that this was done. There is a motion for a new trial that will be heard in August but in the meantime, my friend is serving a life sentence in a state prison for something he did not do. We want to bring to the light all of the wrong doings that we can prove, that goes on in Newton County.
I need the help of Derrick Boazman to help expose this injustice.

I just finished listening to an interesting topic on Power Talk about single moms raising their sons. The callers were interesting, as was the radio guest. The phone lines were full with callers waiting to comment or ask questions. But then, it was 9:00, time for Gayle King, whose opening commentary is about odering a product to compliment her breasts. Really! Is this important to the Atlanta community? How does this compare to helping mothers with their sons?

It’s time to give Lorraine her hour back, Reggie Rouse. If you want to broadcast Gayle King, fine! But put her on after Bev Smith, Nothing personal against Gayle, but her show is mostly chatter.

Can’t we do better? Our community is used to and needs substance.

Does anyone ever wonder why this woman has had so many failed careers in talk and tv? She is BORING! Her show is about mindless chit chat and her life as Oprah’s friend. WHO CARES?? Please take her off and give Warrren Ballentine and Lorraine back their hour!! I don’t listen from 9-11; I cut this crap off and resume ONLY when Warren comes on air. She adds NOTHING to the value of talk radio. I only began listening when I heard Lorraine and continued for the rest of the line-up. We have enough MINDLESS radio, give us something to talk and think about, something positive and inspiring. Gayle King is none of those things.

Truth and Relationships

When it comes to the truth and relationships, this is a very important component when it comes to having a decent relationship. What is the truth? The truth is when someone tells another person what is right and it is correct. When it pertains to relationships, it is important for men and women to tell the truth to each other. I know that one of the reasons why relationships do not last is because men and women are not truthful toward each other. Their intentions change as soon as they move in with each other. There are a lot of unfounded men out there who are not honest in their relationships with real women.

Next, there are a lot of women who are the same way. There intentions change during their relationships with each other. I do not understand why a sense of the truth is not established. A decent relationship is one that is honest, respectful, sincere, and one that has a content of great expression. This means that spending time with each other and expressing good communication skills are very important. If men and women want their relationships to last, it is important to keep being honest with each other and let the other know of your intentions.

Moreover, one of the things that unfounded individuals need to do is find themselves. It is very important to define yourself. This means to figure out who you are as a person so that you can make a difference with God. Remember it is God who can define you as a person as well as yourself. Truth and Relationships are intertwined. What I mean by this is that having a sense of purpose and be able to uniquely understand your own behavior around others will help you to go a very long way. This sense of purpose will take you a very long way in life. Human relationships are a lot different than they were years ago. An example of this is our way of doing things and our sense of progression has changed. Society itself has changed right along with it.

This means that we as humans will have to learn how to adapt to these changes. It is not very easy. Furthermore, it is not as easy as things used to be when our parents were young. The truth itself has never changed. The truth will always remain the same. God Himself is the only person who provides us with the truth and it is up to mankind to grasp it. When we establish a relationship with someone that we are supposed to share our life with, it is important for the two of you to grow together as a unit. When men and women are together, they are a cohesive unit. Sharing a common goal and bond and maintaining that bond is important. I know that many might not agree with this concept, but it is important to know that growing together in a relationship is not easy. There are clashes of personalities.

The personality that you have is different than the person that you are sharing your life with at this time. Let’s define this all together. A personality is a set of ways and values that has been obtained through our parents and passed down to us so that we can progress in our lives as individuals. Personality is sometimes fixed ways that we retain in our own lives. Sometimes these ways will never change.
I am not saying that I can change the next person, but I am trying to understand you as a person. When we share things with others, we tend to express things that are important for others to hear. These are shared ideas.
My ideas might not be what you are willing to want to hear. However, this is what propaganda is all about. In conclusion, men and women have shared ideas and intentions that differ from each other. Women have a desire for a successful real man who has things going for himself. Men prefer a real man with some of the same unique qualities that their parents usually emphasize in their childhood. Parents sometimes overemphasize having children and a family at an early are. Women on the other hand are not listening to the things from the past as a means to establish a basis in a relationship.

What women want is a real man who is truthful and respectful to them from the very start. They want a man who has a decent job and good intentions. It is sometimes men who tend to act like little boys again when they are around real strong mature women. I guess it is the woman at times who is raising the children and the man at the same time. However, I do know that if man and women come from backgrounds that are different from each other, there will be conflicts inside of relationships. Another example is that men today are extremely jealous of each other. This is very true in certain cultures.

They have a sense of competition with each other to find a woman who is tangible from the very start. In certain cultures and this applies today, finding a real woman is like searching for a job in the labor market. If it is like that out there then I can understand why there are a lot of women living in our society. Men sometimes remain inside of a proverbial shell because they refuse to accept and acknowledge the truth. They refuse to accept real and mature women at face value. This only applies to a small percentage of men. These are the men who are jealous of other men who are progressing in their lives. This also applies to women as well.

However, it is the men who are behaving like little children and it is the mature woman who is picking up the slack. A woman does not have any business raising her children and her significant other in her life as well. Men are sometimes insecure in a real relationship. If a man is insecure in his relationship, then this is a real personal problem that he has with himself. Maturity is paramount in relationships today. Men and women want people in their lives who are mature and are capable of making good choices in a relationship.

Finally, truth and relationships are important in human relationships. If men and women want their relationships to last, it is important for each of you to be honest and truthful from the very start. I know that sometimes men are tough skinned and stubborn in their own ways. I also know that women are the same way. At this time, the relationship outlook for single men and women is very bleak at this time. This means that due to the constraints that each person are currently experiencing at this time, in most cases people would prefer to remain by themselves.

Why did you cut Warren’s show? I would prefer to hear news that is going to help me. Anybody can run gossip news. Warren’s show isn’t perfect but the platform is greatly needed in Atlanta. I am highly disappointed that his show was cut like this. Shame on you! I will not belistening to your until this is fixed. And I will inform everyone I know just to listen online to another station!

It was quite disturbing to hear folk call in and make ridiculous comments about Obama. It is my great wish that people read Dreams from My Father. Steve, an angry caller said that Obama has not done a thing for black folk. I find that quite interesting. I think healthcare will help many in the black community. I also believe that financial reform will help many in the community who have been affected by payday loans and those who have signed deceptive mortgage agreements. These agreements have cost us millions of dollars. Additionally, the new crack cocaine legislation, race to the top for education, student loan overhaul and the conflict minerals provision for Africa in the financial reform bill will help millions. Obama has been a very effective President thus far. I don’t believe we have passed historic or truly significant legislation in 20 to 30 years. Perhaps you can research this. If he were ineffective, his opposition would not be so enraged. They are working day and night to defeat him.

Lastly, we are a mixed group of people.
